CHAPMAN RANCH

  • 1,078 deeded acres protected by a conservation easement and approximately 1,500 acres leased from the B.L.M. There are two streams that flow through the property which gives you miles of trout fishing. Government land surrounds this lovely ranch and a natural rock wall creates a sense of seclusion that is rare in today's world. The ranch comes with water right and already has irrigation installed on the land. The ranch is powered by a combination of solar energy and generators. The property has more to offer than just a cattle ranch; this serene setting offers excellent hunting and fishing opportunities, making it somewhere you will always want to return to. From the meadows in the valley to the thick trees in the high mountains, there are miles of millennia-old trails used by the Indigenous people. These trails are believed to be what Zebulon Pike followed in the winter of 1806, leading into what is now the Chapman ranch and camped along Fourmile Creek. Most of the land still has the look and feel of the days of Zebulon Pike. If you are looking for a piece of the Old West to isolate you from the modern world, this is it. Only $3,760,000.
